Tahina Mukit, DMD

Dr. Tahina Mukit is a board-eligible periodontist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient centered care with an emphasis on preserving natural teeth whenever possible. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her specialty training in Periodontics at Columbia University. Dr. Mukit has experience in all aspects of periodontal and implant therapy, including periodontal surgery, soft and hard tissue grafting, dental implants, and mild-to moderate IV conscious sedation. She believes strongly in patient education and takes the time to ensure her patients understand their treatment options and feel t comfortable and confident throughout their care. Originally from Queens, New York, Dr. Mukit is excited to serve the Long Island community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and colleagues. In her free time, Dr. Mukit loves exploring New York City’s food scene with her husband, working on puzzles, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
